2. We need your input to improve efficiency on Valpo Transit's ChicaGO DASH. 

   Did you know that at our current ridership levels, the cost for a single one-way ride on DASH is about $49 for each rider? Valpo Transit’s ridership has been increasing since the height of the pandemic but is still a fraction of Pre-COVID numbers. Our goal is to offer the best service possible in a fiscally responsible way. To help do that, we are looking for ways to reduce costs that least impact our riders. Please help us identify how to make Valpo’s DASH Service more efficient so we can keep providing quality service well into the future.

14. We have currently exhausted all Federal CMAQ funding for the 5th DASH expansion route. As we have certainly expressed the willingness to provide as many route options as we can. We are now forced to reduce by one route Monday through Thursday as well as three routes on Fridays. We would like your opinion on what route reduction would least affect your commute.

18. While reducing service is not what we anticipate while operating a growing transit service, we must make the choice to step back and look for increased participation so we can bring full service back to the Dash commute.
