1. I’m building a new house, how much will my sewer permit be?

View information on sewer permit regulations. Sometimes, a home is located in a private sewer district where additional monies are required. You can contact us by calling 219.462.1161 to see if you are in one of these districts.

2. I’ve got a parcel of land that I’m looking at developing. Is sanitary sewer available for my site?

3. Where can I get a current Valparaiso street or zoning map?

Current Valparaiso street and zoning maps are available for purchase at the clerk treasurer’s window in City Hall, 166 Lincolnway (the old post office building in downtown Valparaiso). Small wall maps are $2, paper booklets are $2, and 11-inch-by-17-inch Xerox copies are $1. You may also download the Valparaiso City street map and Valparaiso Zoning Map.
