Permit Regulations

All sewer work performed outside your building or home must have a sewer permit reviewed and signed through the city engineer's office.

Fees

Inspection fees are $100 per inspection. The fee is to be paid with the filing of the application to expose, repair, abandon, construct, disconnect, clean, alter, plug, or disturb any public or private sanitary sewer main or service.  New constructions are more involved and connection fees are charged.  View the Summary of Sewer Connection Fees for connection fees.

If the building is outside city limits, in addition to the inspection and connection fees listed above, there is an extra $350 fee. A Waiver of Objection and Consent to Annexation is also required for properties outside of city limits but requesting City sanitary sewer services.
