On all observed holidays, the Department of Public Works office will be closed and scheduled pickups will be delayed one day. The Department of Public Works observes only the following holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas

PLEASE NOTE: Public Works does not observe other Federal Holidays (Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, etc.) so there is no disruption in our schedule for these holidays. Please set your trash and recycling out on your regular pickup day for these holidays.
