Due to the decreased demand for brush and yard waste collection during the winter months, the City of Valparaiso’s City Services division will offer brush and yard waste services by appointment only during the off-season of January through March. “We will continue to offer curbside brush and yard waste pick up year-round as demand is extremely low during the winter months,” said Steve Poulos, Executive Director for Valparaiso City Services.
Customers requesting brush or yard waste picked up January through March may request this free service via email at CityServices@valpo.us or phone at (219) 462-6174. Customers may also utilize the online request Valpo Voice at tinyurl.com/ValpoVoice to request services. This pickup request will be completed within 5 business days.
