The City of Valparaiso is hosting a Tree Planting Event to enhance the city’s urban forest and invites the public to attend. “Recent storms have destroyed a number of trees in the downtown area, particularly in the Central and Banta neighborhoods. We’re inviting the community to get involved in helping us to plant trees in these areas and look forward to a fun morning of community building,” said Matt McBain, Certified Arborist for the City of Valparaiso.

Meet at City Hall Parking Lot, 166 Lincolnway, Valparaiso
All supplies will be provided and volunteers of all ages are welcome.
