The Mayor’s Advisory Council on Disabilities (MACD) is an appointed council to the Mayor of Valparaiso. MACD was established to promote inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities within the Valparaiso community and to advise the Mayor and the City Administration on issues that impact people with disabilities. The Council:
The purpose for the MACD is to foster public awareness of disabilities and to function as a public forum for input, ideas and news pertaining to the disabled community in Valparaiso.
