IMPORTANT INFORMATION: GRASS CLIPPINGS: The city does not provide curbside collection of grass clippingS; however, residents can drop off grass clippings at our facility at 406 Don Hovey Dr from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturdays. Clippings should be loose or in biodegradable bags and will be incorporated into our compost program.

The 2010 STREET PAVING ALLOCATION PROGRAM is now available for viewing. CLICK HERE to view / print down the report. Valparaiso Public Works will begin its 2010 Paving Program on Monday, May 17. Work is set to begin on Silhavy from Vale Park to 500 N, and Evans Ave from Silhavy to Pine Creek Rd. Be prepared for minor delays in these areas as there will be limited access during grinding and resurfacing. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. Thank you for your patience!
