About the Department
The department's treatment plants and distribution system of water mains, pumping stations and storage facilities provide water to approximately 35,000 customers in the city and outlying communities. The city water is filtered, disinfected and tested to safeguard public health. Highly-trained personnel and modern treatment facilities ensure that our water meets or exceeds federal and state water quality standards.
