Responsibilities
The Mayor’s Advisory Council on Disabilities:

• Fosters public awareness and education of the needs and abilities of citizens with disabilities
• Provides a forum for community issues / activities affecting citizens with disabilities
• Supports the endeavors of the mayor undertaken on behalf of citizens with disabilities

Mayor Costas and community members are working with businesses and residents throughout Valparaiso to ensure that all of our residents have easy access to public facilities, transportation, and events.
