Responsibilities
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is a five-person citizen board enabled through state statute to grant variances from developmental standards, use variances, special exceptions, and administrative relief.

Public Hearing Notifications
A notification of a public hearing is sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the petitioner's property. This notification includes a Public Hearing Pamphlet, which explains the neighbor's rights at a public hearing.
