The Plan
Commission, along with the Board of Zoning Appeals and Housing Advisory
Appeals Board, oversees planning and zoning issues that affect the City
and also considers requests for variances from requirements that may be
set out in the Valparaiso Municipal Code, zoning ordinances or master
plan. The Planning Commission meets the second
Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Petition and the Plan Petition (PDF file). Complete petitions
must be submitted by the filing deadline, or they will be placed on
the following meeting's agenda. Due to the state statue requirements
for notification of the public, late petitions will not be accepted.
