MAYOR'S ADVISORY COUNCIL ON DISABILITY

The next advisory council meeting is on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at City Hall, 166 Lincolnway. March is Disability Awareness Month. CLICK HERE to read Mayor Costas's Proclamation.

The Council was formed to promote the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities within the Valparaiso community and to advise the Mayor and the City
Administration on issues that impact people with disabilities. The Mayor’s Advisory Council on Disabilities provides a forum for community issues/activities affecting citizens with disabilities, fosters public awareness and education of the needs and abilities of citizens with disabilities, and supports the endeavors of the Mayor, undertaken on behalf of citizens with disabilities

Mayor Costas and community members are working with businesses and residents throughout Valparaiso to insure that all of our residents have easy access to public facilities, transportation, and events.

We will be building upon this section of our site in order to offer the best information and services to all of our residents. Please feel free to contact any of the board members listed below with your thoughts and concerns. We welcome public input.
