Central Park Plaza Features
The newest of Valparaiso's Parks located in downtwon Valparaiso offers plenty of space for weddings, group services, entertainment needs, and much more. Features include the Porter Health Amphitheater, splash-pad water play area, handicap-accessible restrooms, and a seating capacity of 150.
Season
The plaza is a seasonal building that is open from May to October 15 (approximately). Guests are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.
Reservation Information
The plaza may be reserved up to two years in advance. Prices include the Porter Health Amphitheater, the southern half of the lawn area, crowd contral barricades, standard 110 amp outlets, use of the restrooms, and set up and take down of additional features. A non-refundable payment for plaza reservations is due when making the reservation. Reservations are 6:00-10:00 pm on Mondays, Thursdays and some available Saturdays. Rental fee is $600. Security is required at $25 per hour. Additional features: Chairs may be rented for up to 150 at $12.50 per 10 chairs. Table may be rented for $8.00-$10.00 per table depending on size/type. Standard speaker and wireless microphone system available at $150 per rental. Higher power $60 per rental.
